| - I hate giving one star reviews, but alas, it happens occasionally. And to be honest, I was leaving this place with two stars until the very last moment of this experience happened.
Pros:
Really nice, rustic decor
Clean (although it's new, so that's a good thing)
Reasonably priced wine ($5 glass of Prosecco was awesome)
Cons:
Disorganized staff (repeatedly had servers coming to the table asking if this is what we ordered, constantly interrupted conversation)
No gluten free options at all (couldn't even make a pasta into a risotto for me)
Waitress was a little to chummy for my liking (I like friendly service, but awkward jokes and standing around too long gets annoying)
Food prices are ok, not great (my $14 tuna salad was some greens with what looked like canned tuna thrown on top)
My friend ended up with green painters tape in her pasta (and no apology from management or anything about it. At least it was taken off the bill, after some argument between the waitress and shift manager)
To get your meal at the same time as your company you must order from the exact same menu list (pizza only or pasta only... my meal salad came 20 minutes before my friend's pasta)
After we paid our bill in cash and walked outside of the restaurant, the waitress came running out of the door and YELLED at us on 17th Ave that we didn't pay our full bill. She tried to embarrass us in public because she could not count - we left enough money plus a good tip, to which she replied that she was a moron and we could slap her hand for being bad. Really?! I've never been accused of not paying my bill before, and I certainly did not appreciate it.
Overall, I do not plan to be back. I know that new places have some kinks to work out, but the painters tape and accusation really sealed the deal for me.
