  • The ice cream flavours at Village Ice Cream are so unique, you'll have trouble finding them at any other shop. Each experience I've had at Village has been a good one - the staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgable, the ice cream is always delectable, and the waffle cones are always fresh. My ultimate favourite is the toasted coconut flavour - it has real chunks of coconut throughout. Absolutely to die for. The downtown location is a bit tricky to find without GPS as it's tucked in a corner behind Calgary's towering skyscrapers. However, it's worth the journey. Also check out the new(er) Britannia location which is perfect for a sunny day stroll through Sandy Beach with your favourite Village flavour.
