We went to mastros last night. The greeters were spot on, got right to the table The food was perfect. Steaks cooked to perfection, just a fantastic kitchen. The issue was the service staff. They took so long to get drinks and last round they forgot to put the order in. With those prices no fun staring at each other while waiting for drinks and looking for a server. We had to catch other servers attention to clear table to order deserts and finally the same routine. The manager must have figured it out because he was one of the folks we asked for a server. At $100 plus a plate you expect more than just great food. Dinner with friends is a social event and should not be spoiled by long interruptions in service. I hope they take this as a positive as a positive review and get back to their old standard I guess the saving grace was the deserts as they were to die for. So order the pecan pie!
