| - What a perfect little place to stop by on a stroll on a Sunday afternoon, which is precisely what i did a few weeks ago.
I ordered my food, paid my bill and settled down on a leather covered plush bar-stool(possibly the most comfortable barstool i've ever sat on) beside a window overlooking the Trinity-Bellwoods park, enjoying my latte, pumpkin and raspberry-chocolate macaron and fig, spinach, goat cheese sandwich made in a croissant.
The sandwich was a perfect mix of unconventional and AMAZING. The croissant was buttery melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness. The latte was good as well. I really liked the raspberry macaron, but was not a fan of the pumpkin one at all.
The only thing i didn't perhaps realize, is that you pay at the end before leaving, because i paid right after i ordered and there was a tip option on the debit machine, but i felt awkward being forced to tip on service i hadnt yet recieved (The lady behind the counter brought me my drink and food to where I was sitting). Oh, and i love the "oui madame" t-shirts the staff wear here! I think they are available for sale as well.
Great little trendy place to grab a quick bite, or latte.
