2.5 to be precise
To start with the positive:
they provide food-so one less thing to worry about
when it is hot, the kids are inside and not baking in the sun
Ms. Crystal was nice--not overly protective of the kids but seemed to care somewhat
Precious status updates are helpful
the 2 Mary's are not the worst people I have met. Actually they are quite respectful of parents, greet parents and kids when they enter, are usually smiling.
flexibility in terms of being able to change schedules
Now the list of negatives
Insufficient staff--I have more than once felt that I am dumping my kids with an existing bunch of neglected kids
The Mary's could be transparent about the tuition--they have a card that they use to report the fees but for some reason are not providing a copy to parents
Its utter chaos in the classroom most of the times
The teacher seems to present stories on a small notebook screen that the more than 20 students are all trying to see at once. Wouldnt it be better to use a TV?
I did not feel that anybody truly cared about my child. He was just one among the many students
My child did not want to go to school
I am surprised at some of the positive reviews. If you do not have a choice, the place seems safe for kids. Its far from deserving a 5 star for being outstanding. Its OK, not the worst place on earth to send your kids for 8 hours, but clearly far from the best.
