One of the best old theaters in Toronto to show beyond first run and independent film!
Just like it's siblings, the ambiance in the Fox is great, the decor is classic, and I love the bakery goods, as well as the pop (they serve the kind that's basically syrup that's combined with soda water, in addition to the regular stuff like Coke and Pepsi.) And they have Interac for purchases-another plus when you don't want to be taking out money to buy tickets and food from an ATM. I wish I had come here to see Starchaser: The Legend Of Orin in 3D last year, but seeing Buckaroo Banzai two weeks ago was a great consolation prize (I hope that they have another '80's movie festival, or maybe even a Star Trek or Star Wars movie festival!)
All in all, a grand old movie theater-and it's located right next to a TTC stop as well. I'll be going back.
