rev:text	I received friendly service over the phone and at the bakery. The cakes are reasonably priced. Bonus: they have a variety on display for purchase for last minute purchase! Called the bakery on Sunday to reserve two cakes for a dinner party on Family day (Monday). The next day, we arrived to the bakery around 5pm and there was only 3 cakes left in the fridge. As we were paying for the cakes, another customer came in to make a last minute cake purchase. I would highly.. highly... highly recommend calling in advance to request a reserve on cakes if you need it for ANY EVENT! The cakes are aesthetically nice and they taste good. They offer an assortment of flavours and sizes that are beautifully decorated for any occasion. The bakery has a couple tables and chairs so take out is ideal. Ordered two cakes: almond cake - coffee-soaked light almond joconde layers and espresso cream layer and ordered fresh mango cake - vanilla sponge layers filled with mango pieces and whipping cream. The almond cake was moist and soaked with coffee flavour topped with rich cream in between the layers. This cake was a good choice - it was a bit heavier cake due to the coffee brew and almond but it was smooth, not too sweet which made it quite nice almost like having a small cup of coffee after a yummy meal. The intensity of coffee was smooth, decadent and strong. Mango cake - layers of sponge with whipped cream and mango pieces inside. Mango cake was good - not overly sweet and it's light and fluffy so you don't feel too stuffed. The whipped cream was creamy, light and airy. The fresh fruit on the top made it look beautiful and added much appreciated freshness to the cake. Bought 2 cakes: 6x6 square cake ($27) and 6inch round ($30) and shared it with some friends. Either sized cake would easily be divided into 6-8 people servings. We enjoyed both cakes very much and ate every last crumb off the plate. Be nice if I was closer to this bakery but, I would definitely order again especially since they were open on a holiday! (Times may vary, definitely call bakery first to check) Check this place out if you're in need of ordering a cake!
