I was looking for a diner to grab some food and kill some time before a show. I had low expectations, given that I was right in the middle of downtown on a Sunday night, when it seemed like I might end up at a restaurant that is more typically found in a mall.
Obviously this isn't a fancy place, but it's a great spot for some delightful diner vibes and loitering. The servers were super friendly (not like diners back home!). The food was fast and pretty good. Obviously I got the smoked meat, because what else are you there for?
I'm not sure if I lucked out on the quality of the people watching opportunities or if it's always this good (there's another Yelp review mentioning post-bachelor party smoked meat, so maybe this is the type of tourists this place draws in). While I was happy with the food and the overall experience, the people watching made it great.
