These guys are great. I came to work out at this gym about 5-6 years ago. I am a woman, and was referred by a friend for the women's self defence classes. The class was fun, hard work and I started to get into incredible shape; I also was pretty surprised by how much I enjoyed mma. I've been coming back on and off for years.
Last year, I started doing one on one workouts with one of the coaches, 'Frenchy', because I wanted to really up my workout. The workouts are hard. Really hard. But Frenchy is motivating and pretty in tune with how far he can push you. If I didn't come to see him, I wouldn't push myself like that. He has helped me get into probably the best shape of my life.
These guys also become your friend. They aren't interested in just having you as a client or profit. They genuinely care about you. They are priced fairly and give you the best bang for your buck every time. Don't not show up though and don't bring your ego-they have no interest in wasting their own time and only want to work with people who are serious.
I'd recommend this gym to anyone that wants to learn martial arts, or just wants to get into real shape. I've had a hard time paying for personal training in the past because I know how to work out and found they were just there for accountability. The coaches at IMMA will push you and work your weak spots, making you much stronger. I also recommend this gym to anyone that wants to be a part of a family and feel good when they walk in the doors.
