1st time here, not a total waste, great atmosphere and friendly staff but the beer falls short. The wit was unbalanced, and un drinkable. It was over powered by the lavender giving it a soapy taste. The Belgium Gold failed to meet Belgium standards, (tasting more like a homebrewed IPA short on hops) it didn't have the yeasty flavor I've grown to love from Belgium beers. The Dark Ale was by far the best but still tasted flat. Had hints of chocolate and coffee clearly all from the dark malts, but fell short on body and mouth feel. Being so new you can't cross it off the list quite yet, but in a city with deep beer roots and heavy competition this brewery didn't quite meet the mark.
