This hospital is absolutely horrible and my experience was enough to never make me want to go back.
My first issue was with the triage nurse. I explained my condition, which was basically a horrible food reaction that had me up for hours eliminating absolutely everything from my body. She had the audacity to tell me that it was inappropriate for me to be there...essentially insinuating that I shouldn't have even come. She also asked why I came to the hospital instead of going to a walk-in clinic or my own school. I explained that my school's clinic was full and that I didn't want to pay at a clinic or wait considering how horrible I felt. She then called a clinic in front of me (in French) to ask if I was lying about the out of province fees, thinking that I couldn't understand. They too told her that there would be a cost and a long wait. Then she proceeded to tell me that I can do whatever I want, but to know that I would be waiting five hours.
After this it got better. The receptionist was nice enough to me although I watched her yell at several other patients, most of them being older which was extremely disrespectful. While sitting in the waiting room, I witnessed nurses passing by and rolling their eyes at their patients. I also heard a nurse telling a super inappropriate story to her coworkers and I'm almost positive that everyone in the waiting room heard. I finally got to see a doctor a few hours later and he was fairly helpful, so no complaints there. Honestly, that whole place is rude and unprofessional except for the doctors (when you finally get to see one).
