  • THIS PLACE WILL SCAM YOU FOR YOUR MONEY! I did plenty of research before choosing to get my kitty neutered here. I wanted someone who would take good care of Sprinkles during this surgery and after reading good reviews, I came here. Bad idea! The ladies at the front desk were actually very friendly. My problem began in the room with the veterinarian. I don't remember his name, but he gave a brief introduction before taking my cat out of the room. There was no explanation so I was left confused waiting for him to come back. He comes back without Sprinkles and proceeds to tell me the surgery will be $170 instead of $40 because he has retained testicles meaning they were in his belly. The surgery would require him to cut open his stomach to remove the testicles. He also said it was necessary since this could lead to future health problems. Thinking about my poor baby, I was ready to fork over the cash. Hubby, however, thought we should get a second opinion. When we told the veterinarian we'd like to wait, he lowered the price to $150 and later to $100. Okay so you go from $170 to $100? Umm, sketchy! Luckily I listened to my skeptical Hubby and took him to another hospital the same morning. The new veterinarian was somehow able to miraculously find his balls! So we got Sprinkles neutered for $40 without having to invasively cut open his belly to remove the nonexistent testicles in there. TLDR: Veterinarian tried to charge us $170 by saying my kitty had Cryptorchidism when his testicles were in fact perfectly normal.
