  • I was really excited when I heard this place was opening. I have been reading the reviews on here, on their Facebook page and google. Reviews seemed to be mixed, but wanted to give it a try and make up my own mind. Parking was a nightmare. The most direct entrance is located next to John's Incredible Pizza. We had to circle for about 15 minutes to find a spot. We got inside and waited in line to purchase our tickets - only took a few minutes. The cashier explained what the tokens were for and we paid and were on our way. As others have mentioned, the water was murky in some tanks. My daughter is two, so I knew that no matter what she would have fun. I mean, the kid plays with her shadow for goodness sake. We fed the stingrays which was a total waste. There was hardly anything in the feeding cup and there were so many people feeding them that they didn't even care for the food and we watched it float away. Someone had been snorkeling and so there was water everywhere. Not to mention with people petting the stingrays there was water everywhere. I had to make a pretty conscious effort to not slip. At one point we went to the higher area to look down. As we came down the soaking wet stairs trying to not slip, there was only a banister on one side (the side connecting to the wall), and my daughter nearly fell off the side of the stairs since there was nothing to hold onto. For the most part the staff we encountered were nice. We did the parakeet experience which after a few minutes my daughter got upset because they wouldn't stay off her head. The staff member inside was unable to help us get out since he was covered in birds. He wasn't at all helpful and my daughter just sat there hysterical and screaming while I continued to get the birds off me by myself so we could exit. There were no real directions given aside from shuffle your feet. Just really bizarre. To me the place felt so low budget. It was sad. The decor was sad, the painting - it was just very low budget. And the place isn't cheap. The "snack bar" had some bottled drinks and chips. This place is lacking in so many ways. I definitely wouldn't ever go back. I'm glad we went the one time so we could say we went, but there's no need to ever go back. Save your money. We do have passes to shark reef and it's just night and day comparing these places. I mean yes, you have to walk a bit to get into shark reef. But they have a line just for season pass members. The staff is knowledgeable. The tanks are clean. I get this place is new, but if they're still doing things then they should have pushed back the opening again and done things right. Label the tanks, train your staff and finish renovating. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
