Where should I start... Last Thursday my fiance was taken to the ER quickly. My fiance was at a level 10 in pain, it took them a hour and half before they gave him any assistance [due to their already understanding that he is being treated for cancer and he recently started doing chemotherapy, and has been admitted here before . They admitted him only for the night and sent him home the very next morning with a prescription of perocets, stating there was nothing they could do for him and even his oncologist said he looked ok and recommended to take the pain meds as directed. Come Saturday morning he was still at a 10 level of pain, screaming his skin felt like he was on fire, bent over and couldn't move. I called 911 and he was rushed right Back to Banner Thunderbird Hospital. Even the fire department were in complete shock themselves that he was released due to the severity of his pain. No responsibility was handled on their part just pushed meds and doctor told him he was going to die with No type of comfort, also failed to advise him of the potential issues that would come. Nurse had to come in and apologize for his doctor actions. Very disppointing this was supposed to be excellent patient care hospital. Now we're transferred across town. I pray this treatment does not happen to others in their care.
