I had been waiting to go to Scott's Generations for about a month. After reading the reviews the build up for me was worth the wait.
I had the Reuben Reuben with piled high corn beef. The rye bread was grilled to perfection. The sandwich comes with cold slaw (sweet and tangy) and french fries that reminded me of the kind that were made at Nathan's from New York.
My brother had the James Cagney sandwich. It consists of Brisket of beef, melted swiss cheese, grilled onions, lettuce &
tomatoes served on toasted garlic onion roll.
We are ex New Yorkers who both agree. Scott's is hands down the best deli on the west coast.
We both can't wait to go back again and again to try other menu items.
