| - I stopped by with my boyfriend for the late night specials (11 pm to 1 am) last week. Although the deal was good (we took advantage of $5 pizzas and $2 sides), I don't think I'll be returning.
The place was a typical sports bar, dimly lit. We were seated in a corner, and although no one was sitting near us, the place felt cramped. Our waitress was just going through the motions and seemed annoyed.
The food wasn't that great, either. The sweet potato fries, which were the main reason I wanted to try this place and are advertised as "world-famous," had a great, crisp texture, but were way too heavily seasoned. I would've preferred them plain. We also ordered the Classic Maggie live fire pie (a pizza), which was a plain pizza with about three pieces of basil on it. The crust under the cheese was soggy; there was nothing special about the pizza.
All in all, a good deal for under $10 including tax and tip, but I probably won't be returning, especially not if I have to pay full price.
