  • Visited City Art Room on a date...looking for something new to do. We purchased the instructed package which allows you to bring your own artwork to have sketched by the instructor on canvas. The sketch provides a guide for your canvas painting. Our instructor was great! She sketched our works onto the canvas with ease and provided suggestions on how to get started. City Art Room differs from other paint and wine locations, as they offer free-style and instructed options. If you get the instructed package you will have guidance. If not, you are own your own. Not a bad thing if you are looking for a space to be creative and relax! The space is very self-serve/DIY. You choose your own paints, brushes, mixing, etc. You can choose to paint canvas, wine/beer glass, clay or finger painting. This allows you to have many options in the event you choose to visit again. It is also a great space for parties or group gatherings. Space is limited; therefore, I would not recommend over 35 or so people (my estimation). I will certainly return! Had a great time!
