| - Oh Fiddler on the Roof. Coincidentally enough, it reminds me of the high school production I saw...and wait, is that the girl who was in my high school's rendition of Fiddler? Oh, yes it is!
Something about being under the stars, escaping the deadly Vegas heat, and attempting to be more cultured has its charms. Watching this with my brother and Paolo D. turned out to be a great night. As for the performance, it reminded me a lot of high school - endearing in its effort. Though singing was spotty in some areas, the production itself was better than I had expected.
The venue was perfect - gorgeous in its nearby rock formation (and on the night of our performance, imminent thunderstorms), cool enough to enjoy a true warm summer's night, and accommodating for an impromptu picnic. Only a half hour drive from the city and tickets costing about 15 dollars, I am in love with the Super Summer Theatre.
