I have only been here for dim sum during lunch on the weekdays, however it seems like this restaurant gets extremely busy on the weekends. Considering that there are only a few dim sum options in the area that isn't too surprising to me. The food has been mostly hit or miss as far as the dim sum goes. I enjoyed the Shu Mai the best and was definitely better than what I was expecting. The Har Gow was just okay and the sticky rice wasn't very good. Sadly the rice was too hard which it should be soft as with other places.
The service has been adequate to good which is better than what I was expecting. Granted I only came here when it was slow but they managed to refill my water on a few occasions and the carts came by within a few minutes of me sitting down. Other than that the service is pretty much as what you would expect at other dim sum establishments. I suppose it all depends on when you dine in as your mileage may vary.
While Mekong Palace doesn't have the best dim sum...it was mostly good enough for me. I just wish that the food wasn't as hit or miss from what I experienced.
