  • I agree with you Rachel J, I'm so disappointed with this OT location. I came in to this Summerlin location (my OT studio is in CA) with the same expectations of my home OT and experienced two desk employees that looked like they would rather be anywhere else but there...no greeting or interest except for whatever was in their computers. I came 20 minutes early and as I sat and waited, not a word from them. For example, my OT studio passes out the "treadmill" cards after asking members as they walk in. Summerlin has them spread out next to the desk and members pick them up... I had to figure that on my own since the desk was too lazy to communicate procedures. When I walked onto my treadmill (which was quite different from what I was use to) I stood there trying to get out of the previous program in order to start it which took several minutes...the trainer never came to inquire why I was not working out. The member on the treadmill next to me finally helped me get it started. After several minutes, I noticed my wrist monitor was not registering on the board so I had to stop my workout, go to the "employee" at the desk and ask her about it. She informed me that it needed to be registered in their system!!! Where was she when I was sitting for 20 minutes before class started (BTW, the class was very small so the front desk was not busy). I then asked the same person how to turn the treadmill fan on and she did not know . Trainers seem to care less, employees seem to care less and the studio just seems to b dank and a downer...so so different!!! I noticed the open office door as I waited for class. The white board on the wall had numbers of new memberships verses goal numbers. Too bad this is their main concern. I have the unlimited membership but I guess professionalism, studio knowledge and enthusiasm for OT is just not a priority. If it was, management/owner would be more insightful when hiring! If u r visiting Vegas and want to take advantage of the fact that OT has many locations, therefore workouts r possible while traveling...stay away from this particular studio. It is not worth the possibility that u will leave as frustrated as I was. I believe there are other Vegas locations close by.
