  • Started my experience here with the water server spilling water in and on my $1000 bag. Lots of sorry's and paper napkins given. Not gonna lie...its just a bag but it killed my excitement for trying this highly rated yelp restaurant though. I am Korean and eat a lot of Mexican food so this is my cup of tea. Living in LA/OC also gives a lot of exposure to this genre of food so I was definitely excited to taste and see. We ordered Jim's fried rice. Tastes exactly the way I make at home so my boys were happy to have a "home-cooked" style meal on vacation. I ordered spicy pork taco lettuce wrap and fish taco. I guess I should have ordered Sautéed Kim Chee with it because the pork taco was flavorful but missing the wow factor without Kim Chee. The fish taco was rather disappointing. Nothing super about it. We also ordered the pork chimichanga which was tasty but a little to oily for me. Overall...the service was great but if the guy didn't spill water on my bag I would have given this place 3 stars instead of 2. Although i am a fan of local mom and pop shops I don't see myself going out of my way to come back.
