I have been a solid fan and customer of Table 34 from its inception as Wild Sage, through its closing and to its reincarnation. The food has always been delicious and good, but not memorable. What kept me going there was the service and the feeling that somehow it was a special gem off of the strip. The Chef never stopped by, but it was the service staff that was so nice. I always went for dinner usually with guests, spending a goodly sum. But, today I have ended that relationship, all because the restaurant would not reserve a table for a special birthday lunch. It was explained that it is a rush hour pace, and so I should have no problem getting in and out. That wasn't quite the ambience I was hoping for. Glad that lunch is busy, but they could have made an exception for a long standing customer looking for a special experience. I guess it wasn't that special after all.
