| - Not-so-great drinks, long lines to the bathroom, and a dirty dance floor.
I didn't find the staff pretentious and the bouncers were friendly. We got there past 12:30pm on a Friday but there was a long line to get in (20min wait). It definitely helps to be seen by the bouncer if you're a girl. To the comments about the specific dress code - my friends and I dressed semi-casually and we were fine. There were a bunch of people in tees and jeans, and I didn't see any bandage dresses (in reference to previous reviews).
There were a few people that seemed much older (40/50s), but for the most part, the crowd was pretty good - young professionals, casual, non-invasive. People walked around a lot (pushing/shoving), which was irritating. Also, the dance lights would now and then reach the color white (not the sparklers), which gave me a headache. This is the first place I've been to that flickers white laser light in a dark club.
The songs weren't that great -- slow and mellow rap that people didn't dance to.
Overall, mediocre experience and not worth the hassle.
Edit: Had a really bad experience with a creeper who wouldn't stop touching all female members of my group. Nothing was done about it despite one of my friends lashing out at this guy. Will not return, ever.
