I've been here several times, specifically for the brunch buffet which I learned is only on Sunday. I came here for a friend's bday brunch, fully expecting to devour the brunch buffet and much to my surprise there was no buffet bc it's Saturday. Sigh. Their brunch menu still has good options. After debating over a few options, I decided to go with the Carne asada flat bread and the truffle fries. When my Flatbread cane out, it was cold. So I knew it had been sitting out for a while before I got to my table. I asked them to re-warm it for me. The Carne asada Flatbread is pretty good. I do wish that it had a bit more steak on it though. I loved the fresh cilantro and pico that came on the Flatbread. I generally enjoy all of Heist's Flatbreads. The truffle fries were okay. I love truffle fries but they're becoming more of the norm than a specialty at this point. I thought that they could've used a bit more truffle oil. The truffle was subtle and seemed to get lost on the fry. I also had the champagne flight which includes 5 pours. I substituted the elder flower mimosa for a poinsettia mimosa. The only mimosa on the flight that I did not like was th kir royal. I didn't mind the raspberry flavor, I just thought the liquore was way too sweet. Troy was our server and he did a good job holding us down as we were a big party of 10.
