  • I recently went here for the first time for happy hour. I have gone many times for lunch or dinner. I didn't even know it was happy hour, but I will say, what great bar staff. Friendly, eager to point out what is on happy hour, ready to get your order going. I was hesitant to try the jalapeño shooters again... (i only try these when someone else at my table orders them...and really I was in tears because they were so spicy). Well, hello July in Scottsdale, because it seems like the jalapeños delivered that day were not spicy! Good for me, I was able to enjoy the shooters, and see what everyone loves about them, but without tons of spice. We didn't order tons of drinks, but the bar staff were still friendly, and I appreciate that. We ordered a few apps, some from the happy hour menu, some from the regular menu. I will say the tempura shrimp skewers are one of my favorite menu items. As well as the tacos. I always have to remind myself that the spotted donkey is there for me.. a nice consistent tasty place....
