I tried the Nutella white mocha iced with almond milk and the Green Card sandwich. The REAL Nutella adds a fantastic thickness to the iced drink, the white mocha rounds out the choco-fab flavor. The smaller size was still HUGE. The sandwich was thin sliced turkey with lettuce, tomato, and fresh avocado smashed into the beautifully fresh focaccia (don't worry they have other delicious sounding options). Good portion, very fresh, definitely not pre-made and sitting there.
Now I'm sure the 24 hr/driveway thing is tough to staff, but it was a little quiet on the greeting side of things when I came in. I get it. Hipster coffee shop, no need for the fake smile and small talk. Just pop your head up when you hear the door maybe.
Also the pricing is kind of vague. I was starving (my bad, I know) so I didn't question it until later when I was charged $15 for my drink and sandwich. In my travels, I have yet to spend quite that much on lil ol me at a cafe. I think perhaps the barista was sleep deprived and rang me for something extra. Eh. Yolo.
Lots of seating, nooks and crannies galore. I could get some studying done there.
