  • I drive by Rico's almost daily and after enough people raving, I decided to go out of my way to try it tonight. Ordered my bowl, had to wait because the man behind the counter was smoking and then reeked while I was ordering. I then said I would like strawberries instead of bananas and he said no substituting bananas but I could take them off - I said fine as I'm allergic. No big deal. And then I said can I add sun butter? He said we don't have any, I said ok. And he proceeded to add "we haven't had that in years and laughed" - I then explained well this is my first time here. If you haven't had it in years, take it off the sign and don't make me feel silly asking for it. Needless to say, my experience at Rico's was less than subpar and I'm disappointed because I really wanted to make this a staple in my diet. 2 stars because my bowl was decent.
