| - I was going through my reviews today and I came to a shocking discovery. I have never written a review on our favorite steakhouse in Las Vegas, NV. HOW is this possible? Luckily, this wonderful restaurant was on my mind today since we just ate here again recently. We come here for every occasion that we can think of so that we have an excuse for spending $400+ on dinner. We have been here for birthdays, fathers day, Christmas Eve etc. It is without any doubt our favorite steakhouse in town.
First of all, the outside is hokey and unexpected. Do not judge a book by it's cover. Once you walk in the front door, you a transported to one of the oldest steakhouses in town where loads of celebrities and members of the Rat Pack dined. It is dark, quiet and full of oversized booths with tables sporting draped white table clothes. This is a destination place for anyone in this city.
We found a server we really like: Berto. We are now asking for him each time.
On multiple occasions, ordered the seafood tower which is superb but on this trip we ordered crab cocktail and escargot. Both were excellent. For dinner we ordered steaks, surf and turf combo with shrimp scampi and a lobster tail. There is not a single thing negative to be said. The steaks were cooked to perfection and their lobster tails are some on the best in town. We ordered asparagus, sauteed mushrooms and a twice bakes potato for the sides.
Let me tell you, this is the place to go. I urge anyone to try this steakhouse and really be taken to "old Vegas".
