This place is straight up great. I've been going since they opened, and the coffee is phenomenal. They have a selection of different coffees they roast themselves. For example, you can get three different types of Americanos. I've tried them all, and have a hard time picking what to get in the morning since they all taste like awesome. Beyond espressos they have pressed and brewed coffee, teas, and other such things. They also have a good selection of pastries (that I think they make themselves). The place is very small, and easy to miss from the street. They have a few stools you can sit on, but this is essentially a take out only sort of shop. Being right on Spadina it's a good place to pop in on your way to work, but not so great a place to lounge around. The guys that run the place are very friendly. This neighbourhood is spoiled for choice when it comes to good coffee shops, but I'd say Sense Appeal is definitely one of the better spots in the area.
