| - Very disappointed in the experience I had when I recently visited this stealership. I was searching for a particular vehicle when I came across an ad that they had posted online, so I called in and spoke with a salesman to let him know I'd be stopping by. When I got there, he was nowhere to be found, apparently he'd left for the day and passed me off to another guy. He took me to the back of their service lot, where the car was sitting and opened it up for me. It was dirty, both inside and out, but it was the right model and color, so I figured a detail would resolve that issue. Then we went back to my car for him to inspect it as a potential trade, jotting down information on his clipboard and checking a few things out. We went inside to talk numbers without being offered a test drive, and it was pretty obvious that he was in no hurry to work out a deal since they were nearing closing time. He said he'd have to "call around" to determine a value for my car, which seemed a little odd to me, what with it being a MUSTANG I figured a FORD dealership should be well aware of exactly what I had and what it's worth (which, for future reference, is listed between $24-35k according to the NADA guide). I left feeling like I had wasted my time, and the next day they confirmed that feeling when they made NO attempt to contact me. When I called them, they had the audacity to give me the most absurd lowball figure I'd received from ANY dealer I'd taken my car to, trying to play it off like they'd have a hard time selling MY vehicle, which only has 30k on it and is immaculate compared to the majority of the junk they had on their lot. A freakin' MITSUBISHI dealer offered me almost DOUBLE what they did. I didn't go into this with unrealistic expectations, I know I'm going to get bent over on a trade-in 99% of the time, but to offer me $12k on a car that sold for $50k just four years ago is a total insult. Do not do business with these sleazeballs unless you want to see what the exact opposite of good customer service is.
