Sometime things happen that are way beyond your control as the parents of a fur baby. I could not have felt more grief if it were my newborn child. Our 11 week old Bailey believed that she had wings and decided to try them out taking flight off of a well guarded /protected/railing from the second floor o f our home. She was rushed to the Animal Hospital and examined in Prescott. PTL she was neurologically in tact. Alive. Xrays revealed her left femur was broken. We were referred to Dr Shanti Jha, a board certified orthopaedic surgeon in Scottsdale. They, Animal Medical and Surgical Center of North Svottsdale, were notified immediately that we were bringing her in. Ive not ever felt so put at ease by the level of professionalism, concern and caring displayed by the caregivers at this beautiful establishment. We were never left to feel like we were bad parents. The surgeon explained everything clearly about repairing the femur with a plate, all the while his compassion and love for animals appeared more than obvious. He called prior to surgery and then after, as she woke up. We felt immediate relief knowing our Bailey was in the capable hands of Dr. Jha. This amazing doctor has given us permission to call at anytime with questions or concers. With his thorough discharge teaching we are comfortable bringing our Bailey home with all questions answered. I will make the trip to Scottsdale from now on for ALL our veterinary needs and boarding! Thank you Dr J!!!
