| - We stayed here for one night after visiting for the Pirates/Indians game. The hotel is small, but clean and maintained well on the inside. I found the outside to be a little older looking and not as updated. We had a standard king size room with a pull out couch and found it to be fine. The rooms are small, but work for two adults and a 2.5 year old. The bathroom is tiny compared to other Hampton's, but updated and efficient. I love that the Hampton's come with free continental breakfast. They had a waffle maker, bagles, toast, muffins, oatmeal with toppings, eggs, sausage, french toast sticks, yogurt, fresh fruit, and various cereal. They also offered coffee, tea, juices, and milk. This was one of the better Hampton breakfast's I've had and great for the price! Two things I think they need to work on were the air conditioner. It wouldn't stay on for long and kept turning on and off, which was just more annoying and kept me up. The other recommendation I have it a bigger breakfast area, it was just too small for such a busy holiday weekend. This hotel is about twenty minutes from downtown Pittsburgh and a more affordable stay then most of the downtown options.
