I went to Funx on advise from a former partner in this company and service was good at first, really very helpful. Tried to have some work done that my dealership recommended and Collin said it wasn't necessary and saved us over $200, seemed to be a great new business to support and we were really happy to do that. That was my first experience with them and hat service was fantastic....until I got a parking ticket in the mail
My Jeep was left on the road after 9:30am because the lot out back had other vehicles which is the time they are supposed to be open but were not., myself, my husband and a Uhaul customer (they also have a Uhaul dealership in the shop) waited until after 9:45am but had to get back to work. The ticket reported my Jeep still there after 2pm, the ticket was removed from my Jeep before I got it so was not aware I had received a ticket until I got it in the mail and then I had to call him and ask about the ticket and tell him he needed to do something about it and even then he said he would pay half the ticket or give us an oil change. We took up the free oil change. Was thankful for that.
He had also promised my husband that he would do some work on his truck for a deal and now we cannot get him to call us back :( I also needed something done on the Jeep again and he wouldn't call us back. Sorry was really excited to have such a great reliable small business to promote but now cannot. :( I would say sure to try them but make sure you don't leave you vehicle there or you may get tickets and you may not be able to get them to call you back when you need them. I also found that $75 for a basic oil change was more expensive then even my dealership and too pricey for the frequency I get them done (every 2 or so months)
my update is after I wrote this review the owner of this repair shop called to tell my husband to get me to remove this review and then proceeded to text us to tell us to take it down for the rest of the night. (Nov 26, 2012) I cannot recommend a company that would harass former customers because they negatively reviewed their company due to bad service received, please note we are not friends or have never been, we were customers, my husband helped him with his Uhaul when his manager wasn't available but that is all. I am of belief that if you get a bad review you fix the problems and move on and up and learn from the comments made.
