| - Let me start out by saying, " Always Professional in Moving" was anything but professional. I hired them to move a travertine dining room table. The movers managed to get it out of the house, down the driveway and in the truck but then broke it. I understand these things happen, so I immediately called the office and left a message. The lead mover called shorty after and had the audacity to tell me I would still need to pay for the deposit. Seriously?? I said, absolutely not! I called the office again... I finally, received a call from the one of the owners. This person was rude, yelled at me and didn't listen to anything...It was a struggle but the owner refunded my deposit but also hung up on me. I received a call from the other owner. Again, an unprofessional call!
The Owners of this company refuse to reimburse me for my loss and are trying to indicate they are not liable. On top of it, they took some pictures of the base of the table, which is separate and presented it as the table top. They said it had glue on it from a previous repair. Seriously?? I am pretty sure the base of any table has to have some adhesive on it to attach it to the top. They seemed to forget that I am the customer and raised their voice numerous times at me and were extremely rude!!
I would not recommend this company, as they have no intention of insuring your items even if anything is damaged by their employees. It's a shame, because I am not asking for anything out of the ordinary, except for reimbursement of my cost for the table which is $400...
