  • I came here to see what the hype was all about. Great concept, but on a serious note I expected more of a wow factor. The staff were really friendly and worked with a sense of urgency based on the line that was formed. 3 people checked on me while in line asking me if I've been helped which was a nice touch. I ordered 2 red velvet cookies with French vanilla ice cream sandwiched in between. Based on the previous reviews I was hoping not to get a hard cookie. I did however really want to try the macadamia nut cookie with either coconut or green tea ice cream. Sadly the cookies showcased looked rather hard and unevenly baked. Perhaps another time will be better for that combo. The cookie itself was soft which I liked. The ice cream and cookie together was very bland. The entire sandwich lacked a lot of flavor in what red velvet should taste like and the ice cream fell short in the sweet department. It tasted nothing like french vanilla unfortunately. I'll definitely give it another shot with another combo. If the second time fails there's a Gelato shop down the way. 2 stars for the flavor and 5 stars for friendly staff.
