| - I could not give a lower review. I booked this, unknowing as to the awful reputation of the airline, only because it was much cheaper than other airlines - or so I thought. I wasn't until weeks later when I went to check in online that I learned that they charge, a lot, for bringing *carry on luggage*. Wow. It is NOT cheaper than other airlines. They just hide their fees and charge you the day before your flight.
But this is just the beginning. As you see from all the other reviews here, they cancel a lot of flights. My return trip was canceled just hours before take off. They did not have another flight for me until over 24 hours later. So I called to discuss the issue. And it took some wizardry to find where they hide their customer service phone number on their website. Don't believe me, go look for yourself right now. They don't want to allow their customers to contact them. After over 30 minutes on hold, I asked if they would book me on another airline's flight. I provided all the flight details. They said, "That's not our policy." In other words, their policy is not to help the *customer* get to their destination when they cancel the flight.
I had to purchase an expensive, last-minute, one-way ticket to get home on time. And what did they offer me?? Well, the rep on the phone said I would receive a $100 dollar voucher for future travel in my email. I never received this voucher. And, even if I did, it would be worthless. I would never use it. I made the mistake of thinking that all the bad reviews here were just a small percentage of customers. Granted, my experience is anecdotal. Nevertheless, I will not be giving this airline another chance; with or without this $100 voucher they promised but never sent me.
Recommendation: Avoid this airline at all costs. Spend the SAME amount of money (after throwing the ridiculous costs for CARRY ON luggage) and get on an airline that treats its customers better.
