  • I stand here writing as a man who was not divorced a year ago, and is divorced now. And it really was pretty easy, didn't cost a fortune, and both me and my ex are pleased with the results. It's weird the way there's nothing in between 5 stars and one star to review this business. But I'm definitely of the 5 star school here. Yes, a divorce is messy, expensive, and confusing. But Ed and the system they came up made it something that even I, a person who is normally flummoxed by paperwork and the mechanations of bureaucracy, could handle. The cognitive dissonance associated with something as wrenching as divorce can make even filling out the names on a form an emotional chore. Ed knows and understands that, and will calmly guide you through even the most basic parts of the process. Most importantly, he is patient and allows you time to understand. No question is "too stupid", and he'll give you as much time as you need to ask as many questions as you want along the way. Unlike a lawyer, you don't feel a clock ticking away dollars with every passing second. This is a VERY reasonable set fee, and you have as much time as you need to actually get all the bits exactly right. All the forms and papers were up-to date, the system to navigate it as color-by-numbers easy as it could be, and the results unfolded more or less exactly as I was told to expect them to. Whenever I had a question, Ed got back to me with a patient answer that calmly got me to the next step. So if this is something you need to do, relax. Take a breath. Get in touch with these folks. This is a time consuming process, the courts move in slow motion so don't expect instant results, it's not like applying for a passport. But this is the way to go. It's the least expensive, easiest, and sanest way to get it done.
