SAVE YOUR $$ AND GO ELSEWHERE
I went to Happy Nails because I purchased a Groupon. When I went to the salon I was told I needed to have an appointment. Keep in mind no other customers were waiting. Nonetheless, I made an appointment and gave the manager my name and groupon certificate number to hold my appointment. Despite being annoyed, I stayed and had a mani/pedi (paid $40 credit card.)
I return 10 days later to use the groupon and the manager would not accept it because there was not a bar code on my iphone app. She refused to call groupon to confirm that I did not already use the groupon despite having a second series of numbers that corresponded to only my certificate. She admits remembering me 10 days before--coming in and paying and writing down my groupon number. Reluctantly, I pay $30 for my shellac mani so I can leave. I go home and contact groupon. I come to find out that the manager marked my groupon as used when I initially went to the salon, despite me paying $40.
The manager conducted herself in such an unprofessional manner. I'm a firm believer of you get what you pay for and for the $40 range you can find many another cookie cutter mani/pedi salons within a mile radius. I can't believe I'm spending all this time writing a bad review over $30, but it's the principle. I gave $70 + tip to a lying, crook.
