| - This was suppose to be an update review, but I guess I wrote a review for the casino page instead. Anyway! Here goes...
For me, it's not really a complete Vegas trip anymore if I don't make that stop here at Ellis Island Cafe for some of their yummy food. It's kind of a tradition now. I haven't been eating meat lately, so I tried their penne pasta, and grilled cheese this time. The pasta was pretty good, better than expected. Creamy, cheesy and delicious! Their grilled cheese wasn't a joke either, it was extremely toasty, and flakey. Mmmmmmmm. I did wish the cheese was more melt in your mouth, but overall it still didn't disappoint!! I was spending forever and a day looking for it on the menu, but couldn't find it. No worries though, the servers will be able to punch it in on the register! Also, I don't know if they still do their $5 steak and eggs combo, I think it's 8.99 now! But that's still a steal!!
Overall, you still can't beat a budget meal here! Great for after the clubs too!! Definitely a step up from the chain diners (IHOP, Denny's, etc) The service may be a little slower... but well worth it!
TIP: They don't do take out so if you plan to order, you'll have to be seated, order then ask for boxes... They aren't stingy with their sauces though! Pretty awesome, they let us take whatever we needed for our food!
