3.5: I came to Eddie's this past Sunday for breakfast because I needed a break from my typical breakfast spots (Toast/Flying Biscuit). I saw a lot of Yelpers check Eddie's out so I thought I would give it a try.My husband and I arrived around 10am on Sunday and had a 25-30 minute wait. No biggie. Once we were seated we were greeted right away. I started with a water and coffee. Aside from their daily menu, they also had 3 breakfast specials for the day. I'm not sure if they rotate them weekly, but they did look good.
I decided to go with the breakfast burrito with chicken - $8.95. Instead of getting the rice and beans (which it comes with) I was able to substitute them for the hashbrowns and no additional uncharge. My husband got the chicken and waffles. Service was fast and they were continuously filling my coffee and water. Our food came out fast and hot. The breakfast burrito was good- served with salsa and sour cream, but the outside of the shell was pretty dry. I still throughly enjoyed it and the hashbrowns were yummy. My husband's chicken and waffles were very good, but we noticed the breading on the chicken fell off easily so it made it hard to eat.
Overall, we had a good experience and the prices were a good value ($7-$10 per plate). I would be back, but I would try an omelet next time. Their 3-egg omelets come with unlimited toppings, a side and a biscuit for only $8.95... pretty good deal in my eyes. The burrito was nothing to leave me wanting more....
I also noticed from browsing their dinner menu that they are Cajun inspired. I will have to come back for dinner and get the Cajun pasta! It sounded delicious!
