| - This might just be the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I made an appointment on a Monday for a Wednesday 7 am drop off for repairs. I was prompt. The service advisor, Bruce Johnson, was never prompt and rarely, ahem, accurate in his so-called communication with me. I never even got a call about the diagnosis and estimate until 4:30 pm. When I called at 2:00 that afternoon, what he said made me very suspicious that he had lost my paperwork, or put me very low on his priority list. After finally telling me the repairs could not be completed Wednesday and getting me a rental, he assured me it would be done on Thursday. When I met him at the rental desk, the look on his face could only be described as sheepish. He promised that he would call me the next day- "this time, I really will," he said.
Thursday goes by. I finally get a phone call telling me there was a delay in getting a part. OK, I could buy that. But then he assured me it would be completed by Friday morning.
It is now almost 6 pm on Friday and I am still waiting in the customer service area, seething. It has been 3.5 hours since he told me that my car would be done "within the hour." He has been visibly dodging both me and my husband as we have sought updates (we only asked a couple of times, BTW, we were not obnoxious about it). Grow a pair, Bruce, or stop feeding your customers lines of bullshit, making promises you can't or won't keep. You have now wasted hours of my life, just waiting on you in this awful service area. Will you take the value of that off my bill? Didn't think so. More than $2300 later, I feel cheated and totally stressed out. It's unfortunate that I will never use Power Ford Service again, since they are so conveniently close to my workplace.
