  • I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we absolutely hated the food here. My boyfriend and I came here for lunch~ we had the Jamaican chicken curry bowl and a bowl of the Jamaican chicken curry soup. I can't rightfully say that I've ever had Jamaican curry, but as a connoisseur of Thai curry, Indian curry and a lover of Jamaican jerk chicken-- it seemed like this was a safe bet. The curry soup was very bland and It just wasn't good. I was left wanting some sort of sweetness, or tanginess, or something. It was just off and lacked any type of identifiable flavor (other than curry). The Jamaican chicken curry bowl wasn't good either. It was just meh. All the ingredients seemed fresh and the chicken wasn't weird or anything-- it was just completely void of any flavor. It tasted like curry powder and nothing else. The chicken tasted like curry powder, the rice-- curry powder-- the zucchini-- curry powder. The restaurant was very clean, modern and cool looking. The service was fine. The food was just not very good. Such a letdown, because the vibe in this place was great!
