  • Although I enjoyed this gym, and have a good rating for it, this gym might not be for everyone! This is a great gym for what I would define as beginners/casual workouts. More below. So I had a 7 day trial to see what this gym was like. It definitely has a lot of positive points. Here's a typical day working out here: You pull into the parking lot (there is also parking in the back) and what do you know, there's parking spaces available!!! You don't have random people trying to run you over to get a spot. Getting into the gym already become 1000 times less stressful. You scan your fob in to enter - the gym is 24/7 but isn't always staffed, but the access is great! Especially holidays. Alright, time to get changed - this gym has private/individual changerooms. There's 1 dedicated female, 1 dedicated male, and 2 mixed rooms you can use, that have showers and toilets. Not once did I go into the changeroom and think "this place is so gross/dirty" unlike other gyms where you have to hold your breath and pray that it's just water all over the floor. You also don't have naked seniors sitting everywhere on benches spread eagle - huge plus. Time to workout! This gym has a decent collection of machines, that are all pretty new. Nothing looks too outdated on the machines, although they are missing a few machines, such as abductor and adductor machines. This is great for people who are doing casual workouts/weight loss since machines are great since you don't need to practice immaculate form to use it. They also have a nice little functional training area with a sled, battle ropes, TRX and stuff for people to use. Now for the actual weight training areas, the main issue I had was the fact there was no bench press. There's 1 small squat rack, 1 inadequate power rack, and 1 smith machine. Technically you could set up a bench press station at the power rack or smith, but it doesn't feel right and takes a while to set it up properly. The dumbbell area is fairly small, but has a good selection of weights. There's also bumper plates and a deadlift area. It's a bit cramped. Overall it's a pretty nice gym that is convenient and much quieter than other larger gyms. Great if you want to fit in a quick workout and not have to deal with people.
