| - This. Place. Is. Awesome.
When you walk downstairs, it feels like you're on a pirate ship. They have "windows" that look out to the ocean. They even have a breeze that really makes you feel like you're in a different environment. This place is underneath Sips so parking is a bit tough.
Like everyone else has said, MAKE A RESERVATION. You can make one on their website. They're pretty strict about you being on time to your reservation. For us, we made our reservation at 4pm. They open at 4pm so maybe there aren't as many people going at that time but talking to the bartenders, it gets completely packed on Friday, Saturday, and even Sunday nights. You definitely want to get here on time.
Speaking of bartenders, the ones who served us (Stewie and Vicky) were awesome! We asked Vicky what she recommended and she asked us what we liked. Based on our preferences, she was able to decide which drink we'd like. She made us the sea wench which I thought was pretty good.
Another thing Vicky mentioned when we first sat down was that while looking at the menu, instead of looking at the types of hard liquor you like (vodka, whiskey, etc...) look at the tastes that you want instead. From the ingredients in the drinks, you'll get an idea of what flavor you want from your drink. Their drinks are crafted beautifully and each of them gives off a certain feeling and taste so they want to put that at the forefront of the experience rather than the type of spirit.
I had the smoking cannon, which was amazing. It tasted like an old fashioned with a smoky flavor, which was something I've never tasted before.
On their website they say each party can stay for only 90 minutes, which isn't a ton of time to try all their drinks but for me, I definitely want to come back and experience it all over again. The bartenders are fabulous and the theme decoration is on point.
