| - Just don't waste your time here! Rooms have been remodeled with Ikea style furnishings and are very uninviting! I guess to garner more revenue from guests, coffee makers, and refrigerators are not included anymore, which is a sad and pathetic way to control your desires for cold drinks and coffee, and might I add a 25 minute wait at Starbucks. Dinning choices at the time of my visit( May 2018), were limited to a French inspired, poolside restaurant, which was ok, and a high-end casino steakhouse. We ended up at NYNY every day for breakfast and a much more hospitable atmosphere. Our rooms on the 26th floor included earplugs, so the sound of drills and other construction would go unheard, not!!!! We moved to 13th floor after 1 night and it was much better for us, especially after flashing the painters on the scaffolding that were moving down at 630am in front of window. Another OMG detail is the $25 charge to park in their garage per night, even if your staying in the hotel! To add to the frustration of our Vegas trip, the new park area next to the Park MGM, and in front of NYNY is littered nightly with noisy, live bands and DJs spinning loud R&B, so to actually sit and enjoy yourself is impossible. I realized this time that Vegas is no longer a place for people over 35 to visit and calling it a vacation destination just doesn't make sense anymore. You arrive, you check in, drop your luggage off in the room, then start drinking until 3 or 4am, and then, do it all over the next day. This property is poorly managed and the people up top are making scary and sad decisions about its future, but it really doesn't matter because the people are there and so is the revenue, so the control is easy. We want it, they got it!! On a positive note, all the entire staff we felt with were extremely helpful and very nice, and all of them agreed about the current state of the hotel and its many problems. I will never return to the Park MGM again. Aria is next!
