| - A 3 hour oil change! Unbelievable.
I'm new to the luxury/lexus world. We purchased our '13 gs 350 and we are in love. I went in for my first service which was just an oil change. I called and they said it's based on appointments only. I set an appointment for 130 PM. I show up 15 minutes early. I have lunch with my son in their kids room.. And 20-30 min later a couple walks in with their kid. They were 30 min late for their appointment. They ended up leaving before me. Approximately 30-45 min earlier. I spoke with the person who rang me up and politely asked why this took so long. He was apologetic but did not have an answer for me.
OK, I get it.. The Friday for labor day weekend is a crazy day. People are getting their car ready for a road trip. But... If you're going to force me to make an appointment and not give me a loaner.. Then when you say it'll take an hour... It better take an hour. 1.5 hrs? OK. Fine... 2 hrs... Crazy, but stuff happens... BUT 3 HOURS!
Here's what I think... My car was forgotten about. People who arrived for an hour oil change who arrived after me left before me.
I've been a loyal honda owner for 20 years!! And this is by far the worst experience I've had for an oil change. At Findley honda, it's first come first serve. It can take 1 hour, or maybe even up to 3-4 hours... But they have always been good about giving me an approximate time of when my car will be finished. They also offer shuttle service.
I had a date with my family and friends at 530 in summerlin. I live in North Las Vegas. With traffic and everything else it made it impossible for me to go home, meet with family, get dressed, and take 1 car. So, the wife had to go home, pick up clothes, took separate cars, and my son and I got dressed in a bathroom at the restaurant. I couldn't get wasted because now I had to drive home. Pretty big monkey wrench huh?
