I have never in my life been so disgusted and put out by a leasing company or apartment complex in my life. Thank God I only signed a 6 month lease. But from when I moved in, new management took over and not only were they generally a little rude or short with me, they also said I signed a 12 month lease as they didn't have my lease yet with the switch over... from where I'm standing they basically called me a liar. Thankfully they decided to let me out early despite their wrong assumptions and probably because they couldn't prove the lease either way.
SIDE NOTE ON ME: I've moved A LOT. Every 6 months to a year for the last 7 years. I have ALWAYS gotten my full or almost full deposit back.
LIVING HERE: The maintenance entered my apartment without notice and WITHOUT KNOCKING. (I've also seen numerous other reviews online saying this same thing). I was home in my underwear and they opened the door NO KNOCKING. I'm not sure how to take legal action on that but by now I'm sure it's past the statute of limitations.
Secondly if any changes happened I was rarely notified. The office changed its hours and didn't tell anyone... not a big deal but inconvenient none the less. Horrible lighting in the apartments, toilet was leaking and garbage disposal went out while I lived there and were never fixed.
MOVING OUT: I did paid and I usually pay a professional to come in and clean my apartment before I move out. Sure I do a decent job but this is just extra peace of mind for myself so I guarantee I get my deposit back. My deposit was $500 I got $100 back. Apparently I was charged $100 for cleaning $200 for carpet, another $50 or so for locks and other cleaning fees... I paid a professional to clean everything including the carpets. I expected maybe $100 or $200 to go towards some final details but $400... PLEASE. This place screwed me and they'll probably screw you too. I only wish I would have taken pictures or a video of the apartment how I left it so I would have better proof of how I left it. Anyway It's gone way downhill since the new management. I recommend staying away from this one and good luck in your apartment search. I hope this helped with your decision.
