  • 09-23-17 Updated review : AFW is thankfully going to be fully refunding the mattress set and I have already found a new mattress with almost a five star rating at another company. I am still displeased with the product at AFW but still say good customer service (minus the one person the other day). Hoping for a smooth transition when the mattress set is picked up and refunded. Will post an update after then as well. 09-21-17 original review : I would love to give more stars but am very disappointed in this company. The customer service from several (though not all) team members has been awesome or I would have given a one star for product alone. I am on my fourth mattress with this company because of defects that the AFW team has deemed as legitimate. Total cost was over $800. The new one brought also looks off and wrong so they are coming back out again this weekend. I'm frustrated that I keep receiving a subpar product but even more disappointed that a customer service rep suggested tonight that if the mattress didn't work out they would offer a refund to find a new mattress somewhere else, saying that "some people cannot find something they like and they give a refund instead." I told him it wasn't a matter of like or dislike but legitimate defects and receiving poor products. He kept saying again and again about the solution when someone can't find something that suits them, they give a refund. I reiterated that it had nothing to do with if I liked a product or not but I had poorly constructed mattresses which was confirmed by AFW themselves. It's disappointing for AFW to stop their commitment to help me find a good product, which is why I sought them out in the first place. It's like they are giving up and not willing to help anymore and that is sad as a consumer. I trusted the company to deliver a product that matched the quality they portrayed and the way the rep talked tonight, it felt like he was saying I was the blame for being too picky with my choices and that is not the reason at all. I feel let down that they aren't committing to delivering a quality product. As a consumer, I feel like they are brushing things under the rug so they can get me out of their hair, like I'm a nuisance to them. This is how the rep made me feel when he kept saying some people can't be satisfied. Very frustrating. I cannot support this company with confidence. I would say steer clear and put your money in a true mattress company.
