| - I just moved to Montreal and was in need of a haircut, while keeping as much length as possible. I randomly chose a salon close to where I was located, but I'm so glad that I came into NU!
You walk into to a small entrance on the side of a building to a beautiful, cute, clean salon. They have two floors for cutting hair, but the entire area is an open concept which I thought was nice to have to make the salon feel welcoming.
Sheema was busy with another client so Daniele cut my hair. He apologized a few times for his english but I thought it was easy to communicate with him and my hair cut shows that. I've never had a stylist listen to me as much as he did! He was very careful with listening to what I had asked and before he made a cut he'd let me know what he was doing, which I liked! I knew that my hair was in shambles as it had been a while since my last cut, but while previous hair stylists would want to chop it all off, he still kept as much length as possible (as asked) and I still feel like he did a great job making my hair look fresh and new.
The only thing that confused me was charging more for having my hair blown dry, which back home I never had. Even with that, it came to $60 which was a great deal in my opinion.
I'm extremely happy with Daniele's cut and will definitely make NU my go to salon!
Also, I'm not sure why the hyperlink underneath my review says
"14 other reviews that are not currently recommended"
because it seems like I'm not the only one who loves this place!
