This location for the LA Comedy Club is used exclusively as a comedy club and does not share the space with any other productions, so it was created to be the perfect, intimate environment for a comedy club. The 160 seating capacity is larger than it feels. This location opened up in late 2015 and I have been to most of the weekly shows. They are in the Dragon Room which is on the Mezzanine level but not where the MJ Live and Pin-up shows are. It is in the middle of the retail hallway. There are 2 escalators to this level. If you take the escalator nearest the box office, the club will be on your left as you walk down the retail hall. The nearest restrooms are at each end of this hallway, so use them before the show starts because you will miss too many laughs if you take off during the show.
There is one 8:00 show each night and a second late show at 10:00 on weekends.
The line up is usually 3 comedians but often there is an additional comedian who will do a 10-15 minute guest spot, so you might get extra laughs that you did not pay for. The headlining comedian is on the level of professional that tours nationally. The feature (middle) comedian is also in that range, while the MC is usually a local comic.
The all-you-can-drink special works best if you arrive 10 minutes before show time so you can get one in before the show starts. The special comes to an end as the show closes. There is no smoking or vaping allowed.
